The first 34 years of my life were spent building a strong foundation - getting an education, breaking horses, tending cattle, and farming. The stage has always been part of who I am. My mother made sure of that, insisting that all five of us boys become entertainers early in life. As the second of five brothers, I spent years performing country music with the Clement Bros. Band from 1976 to 1992 - an experience that taught me to feel right a home in front of a crowd.

In March of 1984, I graduated from the Western College of Auctioneering in Billings, Montana, launching a career that I continue to enjoy to this day. Over the years, I've had the privilege of selling everything from livestock at the St. Joseph Stockyards to real estate, farm sales, antiques, and just about everything in between. Since the closing the St. Joseph Stockyards in 2022, I have continued selling weekly cattle auctions for the Maryville, Livestock Auction in Maryville, Missouri.

I consider myself fortunate not only in my career, but in the people I get to share it with. My wife, Kathi, and I were married in 1970, and she, along with my daughters, Amy Gregory and Jennifer Mathes, handle the vital roles of clerking and cashiering  at our auctions. With the help of modern technology, including laptop systems, we're able to maintain detailed records and offer clients enhanced services  like pictorial real estate presentations.

Our operation is truly a family business. I'm proud  to be joined by my nephew, Chance Clement of Skidmore, Missouri, and my son-in-law, Justin Gregory of Mayetta, Kansas. With their involvement and the continued support of our immediate family, we're honored to provide a trusted experienced, and family centered auction service.
